SAXOPHONE REPAIRS
Due to huge price rises in my material costs i have had to make an update to all my rates as of today 16/10/09 I will continue to only use the best materials to provide the best service that I can.
These repairs are carried out using the finest repair materials sourced from Italy. The pads are fully waterproofed leather with metal tone reflectors and a poly backing for added playing life. The two main services are, 1 The complete overhaul, and 2, The general service. These will cover most of the problems which will go wrong with your instrument and in the long run the upkeep of the sax is paramount to giving you the best performance possible every time you pick it up to play. There are always going to be the quick fix’s necessary, when a spring breaks just before a gig, or the odd pad drops out, but if you check out the Mend your own section you may find the help needed to get you through the next performance.
The price List
1. Complete Overhaul / Restoration. The Platinum Service.
This service is designed to completely renovate and restore your instrument to the best playing condition possible. The job is inclusive and covers all work necessary to achieve the highest quality performance you expect from your saxophone. I will be asking you for your ideal set up which is the fine tuning of the sax, the optimum key heights, the spring tensions, the balance of the action and more: so the final result is an instrument which feels like an extension of yourself and not just a piece of metal at the end of your fingers. It is this attention to detail which gives you the control to really lose yourself and find a true state of flow with your work as a performer. This is the only job which will give you a totally unique feel to your sax and also comes with a 1 years guarantee.*

These are guide prices and may need to be altered if your instrument is very damaged.
2. General Service. The Gold Service.
This covers the day to day running of your instrument and forms an important part of keeping on top of the quality of your sax. I will completely strip the instrument and clean the body bell and keys. Then after close inspection of all pads, corks, felts and springs, replace as necessary. Any damage to the body is repaired at this stage and if necessary the tone holes are cleaned further to a high (600) finish. This being done the instrument is then ready to re-assemble oil and regulate to A1 playing order. If you are coming to me for the first time I will ask you for your ideal set up and this will take place within the gold service.

3. Repairs as necessary From £30.00
